Going by the first poster of the film, it seems that it has been pretty much inspired by Akshay's 2008 blockbuster Singh Is Kinng. It maybe because of the dashing Sardar look or maybe the poses in which Akki is seen on the posters, both of which are pretty much similar to that of Singh Is Kinng. The poster shows a stylish Akshay wearing a lot of gold jewellery, which includes his jewel studded shoes and turban.
